Paramount+ has released the trailer for the adult animated Golden Axe, inspired by Sega’s classic 1989 video game. The Emmy Award winner, Matthew Rhys, will voice one of the main characters in the upcoming series.
As per the official synopsis, Golden Axe follows legendary warriors Ax Battler, Tyris Flare, and Gilius Thunderhead. The trio reunites to protect the kingdom of Yuria from Death Adder in the series. However, the evil giant has a habit of returning from the dead. Their mission becomes more complicated when Hampton Squib joins them. Together, they must find a way to stop Adder despite their flaws.
