INsiders Guide: Easy, Lo Lo, Atom & Bluxz and Shay Esposito

‘I Want To Marry You’ is the newest feel good single from easy. This song is highlighted by the impressive vocal harmonies reminiscent of the Beach Boys but with modern soundscapes. This California collective have intricately crafted this experimental pop song that immediately earmarks this band as one to watch. Speaking on the release, easy state:

“easy is a community and a vision. We are sisters and brothers who share a love of music and a love of humanity. We revere the classics and demand radical transformation.”

Lo Lo is originally the nickname of Lauren Mandel’s who writes and performs some of the most unforgettable pop songs about complicated relationships and lost connections. In anticipation of her forthcoming debut EP, Lo Lo has released the brand new single “Sweater Collection”, in which she says about the song; I’m not sure who started this ritual, or why it’s such a thing, but it just is. A guy likes you, he lets you take home one of his sweaters. You can then choose to wear it, or hang it on your door as you see fit. Whether these connections lasted a long time or a short time, every sweater told a story about how it somehow didn’t work out in the end. Feeling inspired, I quickly scribbled, “Another to add to my sweater collection. The trophies I keep cuz I feel no connection.” Then I tried to figure out whether this idea would be too weird to put into a song…I decided it wasn’t”.

After a successful #1 radio single in Quebec, Atom & Bluxz continue there musical energy on the brand new track “Love Never Dies”. It features Dallas and 5Star, and little did they know an experimental rack would turn into a flourishing pop song. While Atom & Bluxz were playing the instrumental in the studio, it caught the attention of Dallas and 5Star. They wrote the hook that same night, and our sound was born.

“Feel Something” is the brand new single from Shay Esposito, and it inspired by the toxic, pathological need to control and manipulate those around you.Speaking of the single Shay said;

“Feel Something” reminds you that this desire for attention when you’re lonely is natural. However, the song’s underlying aggression reinforces that while this may be true, giving in only pushes others away. Produced by my dear friend, Trey Mills of Unbound by Sound, the entire creative process was therapeutic. Music has always been an integral part of my identity, and I can’t wait to share more of myself with you this year 🖤“.
