The ‘Robots’ trailer for the sci-fi romantic comedy has been released, it stars Shailene Woodley and Jack Whitehall. It will debut in theatres May 19. The film stars Shailene Woodley, Jack Whitehall, Barney Burman, Chelsea Edmundson, and Emanuela Postacchini.
“In a near future America, a womanizer, Charles, and a gold digger, Elaine, trick people into relationships with illegal robot doubles of themselves,” reads the synopsis. “When they unwittingly use this scam on each other, their robot doubles fall in love and elope, forcing Charles and Elaine to team up to hunt them down before the authorities discover their secret.”
