Universal Pictures and DreamWorks have unveiled the first trailer for their upcoming animation called The Wild Robot. It features the voice of actress Lupita Nyong’o as Roz, the film is scheduled for release on September 20.
The official synopsis for The Wild Robot reads: “The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot—ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” for short — that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.”
Rounding out the voice cast is includes Pedro Pascal as Fink, Catherine O’Hara as Pinktail, Bill Nighy as Longneck, Kit Connor as Brightbill, and Stephanie Hsu as robot Vontra.
