Apple Original Films has successfully won the rights to a murder-mystery movie titled The Wives, with Jennifer Lawrence tapped to play the leading role. She has also signed on as producer of the film. It’s not certain what the film is actually about but according to Deadline, they report, The TikTok Musical’s Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley’s script for the film will reportedly draw inspiration from the Real Housewives reality franchise.
It is a co-production between Apple Original Films and A24.
