Rosé, born Roseanne Park on February 11, 1997, in Auckland, New Zealand, is a name that resonates with millions of fans worldwide. Raised in Melbourne, Australia, Rosé’s journey to stardom began at a young age. She grew up in a musical household, learning to play the guitar and piano, and singing in church choirs. Her passion for music was evident early on, and it wasn’t long before she decided to pursue it professionally.

In 2012, Rosé’s life took a significant turn when she auditioned for YG Entertainment, a major South Korean entertainment company. Her talent was undeniable, and she was quickly signed as a trainee. After four years of rigorous training, Rosé debuted as a member of the girl group BLACKPINK in August 2016. The group quickly rose to international fame, known for their catchy songs, powerful performances, and strong visual appeal. As BLACKPINK’s lead vocalist and dancer, Rosé’s unique voice and stage presence set her apart. The group’s success opened numerous doors for her, including opportunities in fashion and endorsements. Rosé became a global ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent and made history as one of the first female K-pop idols to attend the Met Gala in 2021. Her influence extended beyond music, making her a prominent figure in the fashion industry.

Despite her success with BLACKPINK, Rosé always harbored dreams of a solo career. In March 2021, she released her debut single album “R,” which included the hit single “On the Ground.” The song topped charts worldwide and showcased her versatility as an artist. This solo endeavor was just the beginning, setting the stage for her highly anticipated debut studio album, Rosie.

Released on December 6, 2024, Rosie marks a new chapter in Rosé’s career. The album is a 12-track collection that blends pop, pop-punk, and alternative pop, reflecting her diverse musical influences. Collaborating with renowned producers like Bruno Mars, Omer Fedi, and Carter Lang, Rosé co-wrote and co-produced many of the tracks, ensuring her personal touch was evident throughout the album.

The lead single, “Apt.,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars, was released on October 18, 2024, and quickly became a global hit. The song topped the Billboard Global 200 and charts in numerous countries, including South Korea, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand. Its success solidified Rosé’s position as a solo artist capable of achieving international acclaim.

“Rosie” explores themes of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery, drawing from Rosé’s personal experiences. Tracks like “Number One Girl” and “Toxic Till the End” delve into the complexities of relationships, while songs like “Gameboy” and “Two Years” showcase her playful side.
