Miramax has acquired Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto to direct the upcoming The Beekeeper 2, with Jason Statham set to reprise his role as Adam Clay. Miramax is currently planning to start production on The Beekeeper 2 this coming fall.
If your not familiar with Tjahjanto well you will be because he’s directed the Bob Odenkirk movie Nobody 2, which is a sequel to the 2021 action thriller. This marks Tjahjanto’s first major Hollywood feature. That film is slated for a release date of August 15, 2025.
No casting details or plot details have been released for The Beekeeper 2.
