Trailer: Taika Waititi’s Coming Of Age Film ‘We Were Dangerous’

We Were Dangerous is a new coming-of-age drama movie that marks the directorial debut of Josephine Stewart-Te Whiu. the film is executive produced by Taika Waititi. The film stars Rima Te Wiata, Erana James, Nathalie Morris, and Manaia Hall.

“I don’t think there was ever a time when society wasn’t trying to exert control over our bodies and relationships,” Stewart-Te Whiu said. “Well, guess what? Enough’s enough. It’s time to tear up the playbook. This film is a love letter to the fierce, funny, and complex bonds between women. Let’s embrace the power of girlhood. North America, are you ready?”
