pop singer-songwriter Hunter Daily shares her stunning new single ‘Claw Marks’.

‘Claw Marks’ is the title track of her upcoming new EP, also announced today and due for release on the 12th of September.

Honest and delicately cathartic, Claw Marks captures the gut-wrenching pain of heartache.

With divine vocals and poignant lyricism, Hunter lays everything bare as she wrestles with the haunting pull of attachment—leaving marks in her wake as she’s forced to let go. With its shimmering pop sensibilities alongside organic folk-inspired instrumentation, the track lives in the sonic world of Gracie Abrams and Taylor Swift’s ‘Fearless’ era.

Sharing more, Hunter explained: Claw Marks came from the pain of watching someone I loved walk away like it was easy—while I was still holding on for dear life. After the end of my 4.5-year relationship, letting go wasn’t clean—it was messy, desperate, and it left marks. This song came from that place of holding on too long and it’s for anyone who’s experienced being broken up with and just needs something to crash out to.

The release of Claw Marks follows Hunter’s recent single ‘Dead End’ which arrived at the end of last month. The track captures the pain of temptation and the emotional confusion that follows a breakup when lines are blurred.

Steeped in the deep folk music traditions of Appalachia, and further molded by his prodigious young success, singer-songwriter John-Robert today releases the new single “Other Side.” His first new release since 2023’s Garden Snake EP and first release as an independent artist, “Other Side” was written in remembrance of his grandmother, as a gift to his mother. Opting for an alternative tuning on his guitar, there’s a richness in the song’s woody tone, counterbalanced by a feeling of melancholy. Both raw in its production and emotional sentiment, the meditation on familial love and loss ends with a funeral-like organ fading in and out — Stream

“My grandmother was in hospice care while I was living in Los Angeles, and I was getting updates on her condition from my mother over the phone. I thought about my mom and how she was losing her mother. I thought about how I’d feel losing my mother,” remembers John-Robert. “I’m ashamed to say mom-mom and I weren’t extremely close. After her passing, I felt like I lost out on getting to know someone who heavily influenced and created my favorite person. She was caring, kind, quick witted and smart. When you talked with her, you felt like the only person left on planet earth. Our last conversation, we shared an agreement that there should be no stigma around adults climbing trees.”

In early 2025, John-Robert made the move from LA back to his home of Edinburg, Virginia (pop. 1,070). After spending 6 years on the West Coast, he knew that the best way to prioritize his mental health was returning to the place where he first fell in love with music and with himself. Put simply, John-Robert shared that the people in his hometown “want more for me than they want from me.”

Surrounded by familiar faces and bathed in the Shenandoah River, John-Robert’s upcoming music is a nostalgic scrapbook of memories he’s ready to let listeners leaf through. This is seen in today’s official video for “Other Side” where he digitized decades worth of family home videos

Americana singer-songwriter Mariel Buckley shares her new single, “Swim Practice”, her second release of 2025. With this track, Mariel announces her upcoming album – Strange Trip Ahead, out October 17, 2025 via Birthday Cake Records. For this album, Buckley set her sights on Nashville, working with alt-Americana mastermind producer, Jarrad K (Ruston Kelly, Lucie Silvas, Fancy Hagood, Goo Goo Dolls) to bring the album to life. The nine songs explore the vulnerability of existing in the uncertain – within one’s life, relationships, and career.  Mariel notes, “this album has some genre deviations with the signature “sad guy” sauce remaining true. I used to steal my older brother’s CDs in the early 00’s, and found myself pretty deep in the alt-rock of that era. In many ways, this album was my gateway drug to indie rock. Grief, loss, liminal spaces and of course, another song about doing it in the car.”

Have at It!’, out today, is the foot-stomping new single & title track from Irish-American duo DUG’s upcoming debut album, releasing on Sept 19, 2025. This vibrant single is accompanied by a stunning B-Side cover of the Ian Felice song “In Memoriamin addition to the band’s first official music video, also out today. Watch here.

Inspired by a humorous message shared via his family’s WhatsApp Group during the COVID pandemic, Conor O’Reilly put pen to paper and conceived what was to become the debut album’s title track.

“‘Have At It’” came from a text message my dad sent to our family WhatsApp group during COVID. At the time, there was that short phase when everyone thought COVID could spread through surfaces. My mum was really worried, so she decided to get a will written. She took a photo of it and shared it in the group chat. In response, my dad sent a picture of his will — a napkin with the words ‘Have at it!’ scribbled across the front.”

Comprised of Californian Jonny Pickett and Conor O’Reilly (aka famed folk artist & Lorkin O’Reilly 26M+ Spotify streams), DUG have firmly established themselves as one of the most unique, and relatable forces in the folk music revival, thanks in part to singles like ‘The Big Sundown’, ‘Jubilee’ (shortlisted for two Grammy nominations) and most recent single “Livelong Day.”

They’re an unapologetically modern band. Their music stems from roots in musical traditions spanning both sides of the pond. In one breath, echoing the great American folk troubadours, and in another, comfortably channelling the elder statesmen of Irish folk. You’ll hear plenty of Irish influence combined with one of the most unique takes on contemporary folk music.

YouTube channel, which amassed a million-strong following. But views weren’t enough—music had always been his true calling. Eventually, Tedy knew he had to shift focus and begin crafting songs that reflected his personal soundscape.

After two breakout EPs—2020’s Boys Don’t Cry and 2022’s Manic Party—Tedy has

become one of Canada’s most compelling pop voices. “I Hope” marks the start of a new era, with fresh music releasing throughout the year. Tedy isn’t dimming his light for anyone—and he’s just getting started.

The breaking point is nothing but a glimmer of faint light way out on the horizon behind Kristen Ford. On her newest album, Pinto, the queer, biracial, L.A. songwriter blasts way beyond the point of caution and unveils a wild landscape of visceral emotion.

Ford’s world is one of the deepest feelings: whether fuming at queer repression, falling head over heels in love, or learning to finally and wholeheartedly practice true self-acceptance. Pinto is a place where she can be candid enough to openly share her losses while being mindful enough to acknowledge her wins. In revealing both her scars and her successes, Ford raises a spirited cry that invites the listener to boldly embrace themselves, to take up space, and to loudly state that “enough is enough”.

Latin Grammy-nominated star, Belinda and Snow Tha Product deliver unexpected collaboration with their powerful take on Frijolero, one of the most iconic anthems in Spanish-language rock. Their version reimagines the legendary protest song at a time when its message feels more urgent than ever.

Originally released by the trailblazing band MOLOTOVFrijolero remains one of the group’s most defining tracks, an unfiltered, unapologetic commentary on borders and prejudice. This bold new interpretation marks the first single off the upcoming tribute album, “SOMOS FRIJOLEROS,” a celebration of MOLOTOV’s three-decade legacy as one of the most influential and politically charged bands in Latin America.

The project will feature fresh takes on MOLOTOV’s most iconic songs, brought to life by some of the most exciting voices in Mexico’s new wave of music. Slated for release later this year, “SOMOS FRIJOLEROS” promises a series of unexpected and thrilling collaborations that honor the band’s impact while connecting their message to a new generation.

Little Bihlman, the Emmy-winning multi-instrumentalist behind Grinder Blues and The Bihlman Bros., steps back into the spotlight with his new single “Fade Away,” the very first single to be released by V13 Media Group‘s new label V13 Music. Gritty, determined, and charged with a renewed sense of purpose, the track, which premiered on Indie Music Discovery, offers the first look at what’s to come from the Michigan-born artist’s upcoming record.

There’s a fire behind “Fade Away” that feels deeply personal and insists on being heard. From the opening riff to the final downbeat, it hits like a gut punch and keeps pushing forward, echoing the kind of defiance that only comes from years of chasing something real. It’s the sound of someone who’s taken their hits, stood back up, and decided to double down instead of back off. Cinematic in energy and lean in arrangement, the track pulses like a headlight cutting through midnight fog that is raw, vivid, and alive with motion.

GRAMMY-nominated multi-platinum selling artist Bryson Tiller has released his new album The Vices via Trapsoul/RCA Records – Listen HERE.

The project marks a fresh chapter in Tiller’s ever-evolving sound, shaped by a dynamic production lineup including Charlie HeatTeddy WaltonHitmaka, and Gravez. The 12-track album will also feature guest appearances from Rick RossPliesT-PainBossMan DlowBun BLuh Tyler, and Baby Drill.

The Vices showcases Tiller’s dynamic, high-energy side. Known for blending sharp bars with melodic instinct, this project dives deeper into his rap roots, offering a confident and unapologetic look at the artist in motion. The album’s sonic direction sets the tone for what promises to be one of Tiller’s boldest creative moves yet.

Leading the release is the album’s focus track, “No Sharing” (ft Luh Tyler). The bouncy, upbeat production in combination with Tyler’s flow and Tiller’s soulful runs give listeners a taste of what this new era has in store. Tiller holds nothing back, showcasing his range through warm, rich vocals and hard-hitting bars, proving he is a force to be reckoned with.

Leaning into impulse and raw energy, the second installment, Solace, due later this year, will take a more introspective approach. Described by Tiller as “my own personal therapy session,” Solace explores themes of reflection, growth, and emotional clarity.

Evalyn has spent over a decade transforming personal turbulence into pop catharsis. The Los Angeles-based artist, whose work has amassed over 130 million streams on Spotify, returns with her most ambitious project yet—A Quiet Life, an album that captures the existential unraveling of modern consciousness through the lens of impending motherhood.

Known for wrapping raw emotional intensity in irresistible melodies, Evalyn first captivated audiences as the voice behind Louis the Child’s breakout track “Fire,” before establishing herself as both a sought-after collaborator and formidable solo artist. Her 2018 psychedelic pop opus Salvation cultivated a devoted following, exploring themes of self-rescue that would become her artistic calling card. The album’s 2024 vinyl re-release, featuring new material, proved her enduring resonance with fans seeking depth beneath the dance floor.

A Quiet Life pushes further into conceptual territory, drawing production inspiration from the dissonant frequencies of Aphex Twin, ARCA, and Grimes. Written and recorded almost entirely during her first pregnancy, the 13-track collection mirrors the physical and psychological chaos of transformation—the nausea of anxiety, the noise of endless scrolling, the vertigo of losing oneself while creating new life. It’s her most visceral work yet, co-created with some of Los Angeles’ most innovative producers to weave a sonic narrative of consciousness, tension, and surrender.

As a live performer, Evalyn commands stages from intimate venues to festival main stages. She’s graced Coachella’s Sahara tent with Jai Wolf, performed at The Greek Theater, and captivated crowds at SXSW and CRSSD. Her collaborations read like a who’s who of electronic music’s vanguard: Dillon Francis, San Holo, Tritonal, It’s Murph and RAC have all tapped into her singular ability to inject humanity into the digital realm.
