This summer’s hottest club is keeping its doors open for more good times as The Aces announce Gold Star Baby Deluxe will be released in February of 2026 via SoundOn. Originally released back in August, Gold Star Baby is a concept album that doesn’t take itself too seriously. A metaphorical night club in every city where if you know…you know, everyone and anyone is invited to indulge in a celebration of queerness and escapist, sapphic, disco-pop fun.
- Faith Richards is an R&B artist whose soulful, cinematic sound bridges dark-pop and alternative influences with raw, journal-like storytelling. Raised between Junction City, Kansas, Nottingham, England, and Los Angeles, California, she developed an open-minded and ever-evolving perspective that pulses through her music. Now based in Dallas, Texas, Richards continues to build a global following with her blend of sensuality, introspection, and emotional authenticity.
- Her latest single, “Private Star,” co-produced with longtime collaborator Prairies (Jordan Iacovella), captures the artist stepping boldly into her sensual power. Written in two chapters—first in Paris, France in 2022 while working as an au pair, and later completed in her Dallas apartment in 2025—the song embodies a striking duality. “I was definitely in two completely different places in my life,” Richards reflects. “In Paris, I was confidently single and writing nonstop. When I finished the song years later, I was completely in love and much more confident in my voice and perspective.”
The Aces today released the deluxe album’s first bonus track, “Square One.” A story of the two steps forward, one step backward approach to moving on from heartbreak, today’s single and deluxe album news were exclusively premiered by People Magazine — Stream the new single.
The band’s Alisa Ramirez shared, “I was in a place emotionally when we were writing ‘Square One’ where although a lot of time had passed since a heartbreak, the smallest thing could trigger all those feelings again. I felt really frustrated with the process of healing. I had to reckon with the fact that even though I so badly wanted to be moved on, I just wasn’t. You can’t snap your fingers and tell your heart to mend back together, it doesn’t work that way. So this song was finally me accepting that and sitting in those emotions.”

Dance music powerhouse GRYFFIN and rising bass producer YDG have unleashed their highly-anticipated collaborative single ‘The Feeling’ out now via 10K Projects.
‘The Feeling’ sees GRYFFIN diving deeper into the emotional bass realm, blending his progressive roots with YDG’s hard-hitting edge for a track built to shake festival stages. Powered by melodic builds and thunderous drops, the track channels the transcendent rush of the dancefloor while showcasing a new dimension to GRYFFIN’s evolving sound. It’s a bold, forward-looking collaboration that captures both artists at their creative peak.
GRYFFIN and YDG have built a unique friendship over the past year. GRYFFIN first dropped YDG’s ‘You & Me’ remix during his set at Coachella’s Do LaB, later enlisting YDG for an official remix of his PULSE hit ‘MAGIC’. ‘The Feeling’ marks a full circle moment for GRYFFIN as a tastemaker, turning YDG from a set favorite into a true collaborator.
“The highlight of my 2024 Coachella DoLab set was YDG’s remix of ‘You & Me’. After that show, it ended up in nearly every set of mine for the rest of the year. Mikeey’s music and remixes have managed to break through all the noise and be a big part of dance culture in the last couple of years, and it was a no-brainer to work on something together. ‘The Feeling’ is one of those collaborations that fusing our sounds feels almost effortless and that’s always the right sign. Been teasing this one for a long time now and I think y’all are ready for it now.” – GRYFFIN
“Getting the chance to collaborate with GRYFFIN was such a cool experience and our sounds worked perfectly together here. I’m so happy with the way ‘The Feeling’ came out!” -YDG
Beatrix today releases her second single of the year, titled “Dead Dog.” She recalls the story of an ex cheating on her and him likening the situation to a dog dying — grossly simplifying it down to “You loved it so much and you couldn’t imagine life without it, but then you get a new dog and sort of forget about the old one.” A decade later, the misguided matter-of-factness sticks with Beatrix as she’s now returning to haunt him — Stream.
Allowing nonchalance and carelessness to turn into regret year by year, “Dead Dog” is a go-for-broke rock song on which Kasnetz breathtakingly exorcises her rage and pain. Created with just her and two collaborators, Philip Etherington and Ehren Ebbage, there is power in the tight-knit collaboration of the new single. As painful as the subject matter is, Beatrix is grateful for the metaphor it lent to her songwriting.
Discussing the multiple lives today’s song has lived, Beatrix shared, “It was originally much lower and slower. I resisted the change but it was definitely the right move. When I belt the higher parts it’s so much more powerful and angry. At one point while recording this vocal I looked up and Philip and Ehren were both filming me. Ehren said ‘in case I am witnessing a moment in rock history.’ That’s how it felt to sing it — like I was getting out all of the rage inside of me.”
In the official video for “Dead Dog” directed by Rogue Bonaventura, Beatrix refreshes the famed trope of heartbreak and revenge at the high school prom. In all her movements and facial expressions, the anguish of the song’s lyrics writhe and squirm in front of a backdrop of twinkly lights and tinsel

Rising Los Angeles-based indie pop band GOODTWIN returns with “Fool,” an infectious track that captures the feeling of anxious overthinking and packs it into a freeing tune. With bright synths, bumping bass, and heartfelt vocals – GOODTWIN pulls listeners out of that familiar moment of self-doubt and straight onto the dance floor. Stream “Fool” on all digital platforms worldwide and watch the video now on YouTube.
“Fool” immediately transports the listener into the world of disco. The bass and synth intertwine with an energetic pulse that gets bodies moving and spirits lifting. The emotive voice softly repeats the intrusive thoughts that arise when worry hits: “Did I make a fool?” As the track unfolds, the lyrics soothe listeners with a sense of self-compassion, while the bass propels the song to its emotional peak: “Let’s go walk around, that fresh air might do it. Move you right through it. We won’t waste our time.” These intimate reflections, inspired by the lead singer’s own experience with performance anxiety, transform nervousness into a celebration of imperfection and individuality. “This song is about liberating yourself from that anxious morning-after spiral — that pit in your stomach that wonders, ‘Did I say too much? Am I too much? Did I make a fool?’” explains GOODTWIN. “We now almost always end our sets with ‘Fool.’ It’s a ritual of letting go, accepting what we just did, and moving on. And it helps!” The song is paired with a striking music video, set at a buzzing party, which follows an uptight clown who becomes free and actualized as the track progresses. Written by band members Gus Alexander (vocals), Denis Victorov (bass & synth), and Cameron Mehrabian (guitar), the song also features Zac Hernandez on drums.
New York City-based pop/rock group Scotia Rose aim to enjoy the present on the bright title track out now from their forthcoming debut EP Good Times due out December 5 available to pre-save now via Deko Music (ADA/Warner). The band will celebrate the EP with a live show at NYC’s Mercury Lounge on December 6–see tickets and information here.
After playing a few electric shows with drum legend and Pearl Jam collaborator Richard Stuverud, it became clear that Scotia Rose was ready to make a statement, culminating in the forthcoming project. Sonically, it’s heavy pop through a rock n’ roll lens with big hooks and roaring guitar solos. Lyrically fresh and clever, it explores a range of themes from existential dread to finding love at the club.
In the almost two years since they last released, Scotia Rose has played several shows and have learned each other better as players. When Stuverud joined the live band a year ago, he made a tremendous impact and the band fully clicked. Frontman Jeff Weiss recalls, “He immediately understood what the songs needed and we knew we had to record with him as soon as possible.” On the record as a whole, Weiss adds, “Everyone was locked in. It was definitely the best experience I’ve ever had recording. The finished product is the best thing I’ve ever been involved with.”
On the buoyant title track, Weiss says, “‘Good Times’ is a trip. Where am I going and how do I get there? How do I stay present when it happens? Will it ever happen? What if it happens and I can’t enjoy it? The story ultimately ends with triumph thanks to a band that couldn’t have it any other way.”
Steeped in the deep folk music traditions of Appalachia, and further molded by his prodigious young success, singer-songwriter John-Robert today releases his new EP Cross Stitch. This EP marks his first new body of work since 2023’s Garden Snake EP and first release as an independent artist. Across five tracks, he artfully weaves together generations of stories — his own and those of his family — Stream.
According to John-Robert, his new EP, Cross Stitch, “reminds me of one of my great grandmother’s quilts. Various fabrics, sewn together to create one cohesive art piece.” The music video for EP stand-out track “Use Me” sees a hometown amateur wrestling match unravel
Paris WYA, an emerging global one-to-watch, has released her newest magnetic single, “Treat Me Right.” A harrowingly complex track detailing the heartbreak of missing someone who doesn’t love the way they should, “Treat Me Right,” and its accompanying lyric visualizer, are now available on all major streaming platforms.
A love letter to the ghost of what could have been, “Treat Me Right” earnestly combines soft acoustic guitar with synth percussive elements to accentuate Paris WYA’s underlying desire for reconciliation. Striking bass drums beautifully underscore her tentative vocals, while a vibrant bass line softly creates an infectious earworm. Driving home her internal conflict over letting go of her lover, she sings, “So just treat me right / cause I swear your hand molds itself to mine / don’t need no one else cause you know me more than anyone else before,” begging for a sense of resolution. A marooning ‘80s guitar lick cascades across the anthem by the second verse, ceremoniously crescendoing the slightly funky, pop-driven recording to a flourishing conclusion. Tension transfixes itself into the song, creating a ballad that accurately reflects a swooning heart chasing after a cursed romance. Slightly desperate for a solution to estrangement, Paris WYA underlines the song with a sense of emotional craving. “It’s about the kind of first love that never leaves quietly, the one that lingers in muscle memory, in the shape of someone’s hand, in the way they once said your name,” she reveals. “It’s about looking back with open wounds, and still believing somewhere deep down that if they had just loved you right, maybe you could’ve made it.” “Treat Me Right” was written by Emma Taylor and produced by Adrian Cota (Cody Simpson).
Brooklyn, NY-based singer-songwriter and producer Tomás Tomás shares dreamy, cinematic debut EP Sweet Sleep out now. Alongside the full project is the gentle track and serene New York City-set music video, “Brought It Down” co-directed by Tomás Tomás and actor Jaeden Martell (IT, Knives Out, Defending Jacob), which serves as part one of a forthcoming three-part short film.
Tomás Tomás is the artful musical project from Tom Fattorusso whose previous roles include assistant director and composer for campaigns such as the Savage x Fenty Show. Now, with his heart on his sleeve, the artist presents a soothing collection he calls, “music you walk to.” It was built as a refuge from the overstimulation of the world–an effort to get rest for the soul.
Inspired by curiosity, Tomás Tomás says, “Going through life is confusing, and fascinating, I feel like I’m constantly searching for answers and meaning. I tend to reflect a lot, but through 2024 I had little time to smell the roses or any flower of any kind. Eventually I resorted to isolation, and it was liberating. Making this project became my therapy. I still have so many questions about this life, but speaking my mind through sound has brought me so much comfort. That’s truly what this project means to me. It’s an extension of my search for meaning. I reckon this music is best heard while on an evening walk.”
