Disney has released the first image of the upcoming Lilo & Stitch live-action remake, in which we see Stitch in a new look at the upcoming movie. This image was showcased at Disney’s ongoing D23 Brazil event.
The Lilo & Stitch movie is slated for release in United States theaters on May 23, 2025.
“The Hawaii-centric story tells of the bond formed between a lonely human girl named Lilo and a dog-like alien named Stitch, who was genetically engineered to be a force of destruction,” a description of the plot reads, via The Hollywood Reporter. “With nosy social workers and pursuing aliens banging on the door, the two bond over a shared sense of family and win the day.”
