Olivia Rodrigo has once again captivated fans with her latest musical project, unveiling her third studio album titled You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love this past Friday. In her new record, the Drop Dead singer aimed to delve into the complexities of love, exploring it from multiple perspectives.
Following the album’s release, Olivia shared a heartfelt message with her fans on Instagram. She expressed her excitement, stating, “My third album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love is out now!!!! I love this album so much and I am so thrilled that it’s finally yours.” She described the album as a “time capsule of a relationship in all its highs and lows,” capturing the multifaceted nature of love—the hope and disappointment, the chaos and clarity, the entanglement and eventual unraveling.
In her personal life, Olivia was recently linked to English actor Louis Partridge. Reports indicate they ended their relationship in December 2025, during the time she was working on her new album.
Olivia also took a moment to thank those who supported her throughout the creative process. She particularly appreciated her producer, Dan Nigro, stating, “I have so many people to thank for making this album a reality but I am most grateful to my producer Dan Nigro. He has been my musical confidant for five years now and I had the most wonderful time making all of these songs with him.”
Concluding her message, Olivia expressed her gratitude to her fans worldwide. “Most of all, thank you guys for listening. It sounds corny but I truly feel so lucky that I get to share in this journey with you all. The idea of someone listening to these songs and letting them into their world is the most wonderful thing I can think of. Here’s to hoping!” she declared.
