Mandy Moore has joined stand-up comedian Nate Bargatze in TriStar Pictures’ upcoming comedy titled The Breadwinner. Joining them in the cast is other up-and-coming stars including Stella Grace Fitzgerald, Birdie Borria, and Charlotte Ann Tucker. The Breadwinner will be directed by Eric Appel, who also co-wrote the screenplay.
“The story sees the life of Bargatze’s character turned upside down when his supermom wife (Moore) lands a deal on Shark Tank. The lifelong breadwinner of the family becomes a stay-at-home dad, and quickly realizes he’s in way over his head,” reads the initial synopsis.
