The upcoming Street Fighter movie has offered fans their first glimpse of Cody Rhodes as Guile thanks to a newly shared set photo that teases one of the fighter’s most recognizable traits.
Comedian and actor Andrew Schulz, who plays Dan Hibiki in the film, posted the photo online, revealing Rhodes’ silhouette. While the image doesn’t show his face, Guile’s unmistakable flat-top hairstyle is clearly outlined, leaving little doubt about the character’s look.
The adaptation features a stacked ensemble cast, including Andrew Koji as Ryu, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Noah Centineo as Ken, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Roman Reigns as Akuma, Orville Peck as Vega, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog. Additional reported roles include Japanese wrestling star Hirooki Goto as E. Honda and Indian action hero Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim.
Filming is scheduled to kick off in Australia this August, though story details remain tightly under wraps. The project is being co-developed and co-produced by Legendary Entertainment in partnership with Capcom.
At this stage, no official release date has been announced for the Street Fighter movie.
