Lionsgate has finally released the trailer for The Housemaid, the upcoming thriller which is scheduled to debut in theaters on December 19, 2025.
“The film plunges audiences into a twisted world where perfection is an illusion, and nothing is as it seems. Trying to escape her past, Millie accepts a job as a live-in housemaid for the wealthy Nina and Andrew Winchester,” reads the official synopsis. “But what begins as a dream job quickly unravels into something far more dangerous — a sexy, seductive game of secrets, scandal, and power. Behind the Winchesters’ closed doors lies a world of shocking twists that will leave you guessing until the very end.”
The video features its primary cast, headed by Emmy nominee Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria, Anyone But You) portraying Millie, Academy Award nominee Amanda Seyfried (Mamma Mia!, Mank) as Nina, and Brandon Sklenar (It Ends With Us) in the role of Andrew. Alongside them are Michele Morrone (Another Simple Favor), Elizabeth Perkins (Weeds), Megan Ferguson (Gossip Girl), Ellen Tamaki (Manifest), Indiana Elle (Lessons in Chemistry), and additional talented actors.
