Arkasha Stevenson and Tim Smith’s upcoming A24 horror film continues to take shape with the addition of several talented actors. Katelyn Rose Downey (The Nun II), Fabien Frankel (Task, House of the Dragon), Suzanna Son (Red Rocket, Monster: The Ed Gein Story), and Emory Cohen (Marty Supreme, The Place Beyond the Pines) have joined the cast.
The project, which remains untitled, follows Stevenson and Smith’s previous collaboration with A24 on The First Omen, a 2024 prequel featuring Nell Tiger Free, Tawfeek Barhom, Sonia Braga, Ralph Ineson, and Bill Nighy. The film’s cast was previously rumored to include Josh Hutcherson, Caleb Landry Jones, Whitmer Thomas, Emma Corrin, Havana Rose Liu, Hunter Schafer, and Sophie Wilde. However, actor Frank Dillane, initially announced as part of the cast, is no longer involved.
While the plot details are still under wraps, the film is reportedly centered on a bachelor party that descends into terror. The movie is produced by Lars Knudsen and Emily Hildner under Knudsen’s Square Peg production banner, with Ari Aster serving as an executive producer. Additional producers include Tim Smith, Harrison Huffman, and Christine D’Souza.
