“I know I’m no angel, but my dear you weren’t a saint” sings fast rising artist Tanis, as she opens a brand new chapter with her single ‘The Bad One’, a track anchored in alt-pop sonics, soft electronic percussion and a memorable vocal intimacy. The single feels like the perfect evolution from her 2025 EP ‘Just some stories’, as Tanis shows herself as an artist who knows exactly how to turn personal chaos and complex feelings into something impactful. ‘The Bad One’ signals a more daring and emotionally direct side to the artist, as she steps into her most unapologetic era yet.

Tanis crafts a nuanced and textured pop sound that places her between artists like HAIM and Maggie Rogers, as she demonstrates a natural ability to balance candid songwriting, tangible relatability and feel-good melodies.

For ‘The Bad One’, Tanis beautifully captures the uncomfortable feeling of not always being left on good terms after a break-up, and being cast as the one at fault. This all-encompassing sentiment reflects on the duality that exists within every relationship, highlighting how each person sees things through their own reality, as she sings ‘you can be the good one baby / I can be the bad one’. The track develops as a self-aware confession, with Tanis playing the role of the villain, not out of guilt, but out of desire to let someone else find closure. Lyrics like ‘You can blame the whole thing on me/ if it helps you feel free’ frame the song as an act of emotional surrender, where accountability becomes a gift rather than a burden. It is this admission of imperfection ‘I know I’m no angel / I know that I made a mistake’ that sets the tone of vulnerable honesty.

As Tanis says in her own words: “There are two sides to every story, and often at times those two stories can be remarkably different depending on who the storyteller is. In my own story, I would like to think that I am the honourable protagonist, but I have come to learn that from another perspective, I may indeed be the villain, the bad one.”

Coming from three continents, fluent in four languages and being raised between vastly different worlds, Tanis is proving that identity isn’t inherited but created, choosing not to define herself by where she was, but who she wanted to be. ‘The Bad One’ continues to explore her self-made identity, and is a record that will proceed to cement her status as one to watch.

GRAMMY-nominatedplatinum-selling singer-songwriter and seven-time Billboard No. 1 hitmaker JHart releases his new single, ‘Memories‘, offering the first glimpse into a striking new creative chapter that places his artistry, voice, and emotional storytelling firmly at the forefront. Known throughout the industry as the songwriter behind records for Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Troye Sivan, Usher, Durand Bernarr, Tate McRae, and more, JHart has long established himself as one of music’s most sought-after collaborators. With ‘Memories’, however, the Los Angeles-based artist steps further into his own spotlight, delivering a sound that feels intimate and timeless.

Inspired by the warmth and emotional depth of 70s-influenced yacht rock, ‘Memories’ trades heartbreak clichés for something more nuanced. Anchored by rich live instrumentation, soaring vocals, and a tinge of nostalgia, the single reflects on a past relationship not through resentment or longing, but through appreciation for what once was.

“‘Memories came from a place I hadn’t seen represented often in music – post-breakup gratitude,” says JHart“Not longing, not heartbrokenness, but a bittersweet appreciation for something that was beautiful and had run its course. I wanted to capture that curiosity of wondering if the other person felt it too.”

The Warning officially announce their highly anticipated fifth studio album, Everything’s Falling, arriving August 28 via Island EMI Label Group. Revealed this week through the band’s dedicated album website, www.everythingsfalling.com, the project marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for the Monterrey sister trio. Alongside the announcement, The Warning share their powerful new single “Ritual,” available now. Listen HERE, watch HERE, purchase the merch collection HERE, and pre-order the album on limited edition signed CD & vinyl HERE.

Driven by haunting melodies, crushing instrumentation, and an unforgettable chorus, “Ritual” explores the fear of losing something good and the tendency to anticipate disaster even in moments of happiness. The song channels anxiety, obsession, and self-sabotage into one of the band’s most vulnerable and compelling releases to date.

The band shares, “‘Ritual’ is about the fear of losing something good. Even when life is going well, anxiety can convince you that disaster is right around the corner. It’s about getting trapped in those thoughts and letting them keep you from actually living in the moment.”

Alongside today’s release, The Warning officially announce their forthcoming album Everything’s Falling, arriving August 28th. The project captures the band’s continued evolution, both personally and creatively, as Daniela “Dany” Villarreal, Paulina “Pau” Villarreal, and Alejandra “Ale” Villarreal reflect on growth, resilience, and the lessons learned along the way.

Reflecting on the album, the band says: Everything’s Falling is a snapshot of where we are in our lives right now. We’ve grown so much over the past few years, not just as musicians, but as people. This album reflects everything we’ve experienced, the lessons we’ve learned, and the challenges we’ve overcome.

At its core, it’s about accepting that life can be messy and unpredictable. Things fall apart, plans change, and sometimes you lose your footing. But those moments can teach you the most about yourself, and they’re often what make you stronger in the end.”

Heating up the summer to a boiling point, three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning hip-hop legend, actor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Ludacris tags in GRAMMY® Award-nominated rap powerhouse and CMG signee GloRilla for a brand new single entitled “Real Hustla” out now via DTP Records/Def Jam Recordings. It marks the first-ever collaboration between these hip-hop titans.

Rising theatre-pop visionary RAEGAN unveils her latest single, ‘CRYING IS A GIRL’S BEST FRIEND,’ a dazzling pop-burlesque spectacle that transforms heartbreak into empowerment. Arriving as a centrepiece of her forthcoming EP ‘RAEGAN CORE’, the track is smooth, theatrical, and emotionally explosive, equal parts show-stopping musical number and intimate confession.

Built around sweeping melodies, dramatic crescendos, and RAEGAN’s unmistakable flair for spectacle, ‘CRYING IS A GIRL’S BEST FRIEND’ reimagines vulnerability as a source of strength. Beneath its glamorous exterior lies a powerful message: when the party ends, the lights go down, and everyone else leaves, you’re never truly alone.

Singer-songwriter Luca George unveils the brand-new upbeat cinematic pop single ‘Grow Down’, out today.

Having recently performed at The Great Escape in the UK, the New Zealand-born, London-based artist gives us another glimpse of new music for the year with ‘Grow Down’, following the recent single ‘Not Born For Love’.

Grow Down’ was co-written in London with singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin, and songwriter and producer Joseph Wander (Lewis Capaldi, Only The Poets, Declan J Donovan) who also co-produced the single with highly acclaimed record producer Mike Spencer (Ellie Goulding, Zara Larsson, Kylie Minogue, John Newman). The single is fuelled by the enchanting wonder of youth and the yearning to preserve its carefree spirit. “Grow Down is really just me wishing I could hold onto that freedom, imagination, and innocence for a little longer,” Luca says.

Speaking further about the track, Luca shares, “Grow Down is a song about wishing I could stay young forever. It plays with the idea of growing down instead of growing up, holding onto the innocence and magic that seems to disappear as you get older. I wrote it using some of my favourite childhood memories, lying on the trampoline pretending I could fly, staring up at the stars and making shapes out of the clouds and animals in the sky, collecting rocks at the beach, catching fireflies, making wishes on shooting stars, and dancing like nobody’s watching. The song moves through the moment where that childlike wonder slowly starts to fade. When someone tells you your wishes will never come true, when you suddenly become aware that people are watching you dance, when the rocks you used to treasure become ice cubes melting in your glass, and when the shoes you wear are too expensive to jump in puddles anymore.”

Capitol Records artist Jael announces her new single, ‘Hallowed Ground’, released June 19th from her debut EP ‘Mama Says’ out on the 31st July.

Written alongside acclaimed producer and songwriter Eg White, ‘Hallowed Ground’ is Jael’s most personal release to date, a deeply affecting meditation on unresolved grief. Inspired by a personal experience, Jael confronts the emotional weight of loving someone from afar and transforming a private story into something quietly universal.

Speaking about the track, Jael says, “This song is really personal and cuts deep for me. I wrote it about a family member who I was really close to growing up, but haven’t seen for the last few years, which has been really painful for our family. I think lots of people can relate to being ‘ghosted’ for all sorts of reasons.

I wrote this song with the legendary Eg White in London, and I think we both knew it was special the day we wrote it. If one person listens to ‘Hallowed Ground’ and it helps them as much as it has helped me, then I’ll be happy. I’m sending it into the world with love.”

Multi-platinum rapper, songwriter, and Atlanta pain music pioneer Derez De’Shon returns with his latest single, “All In My Head,” out now via Cinq Music, a GoDigital Music company. Serving as the latest preview of his forthcoming album I’m Not OK But…, arriving August 7, the new release finds Derez confronting the weight of intrusive thoughts, emotional pressure, and unresolved pain through one of the most sonically adventurous records of his career.

At its core, “All In My Head” explores the experience of being trapped inside your own mind, replaying trauma, carrying emotional burdens, and searching for clarity amid internal chaos. Known for his unfiltered storytelling and deeply personal songwriting, Derez has become one of the defining voices in pain music by transforming real-life struggles into records that resonate far beyond his own experiences. On “All In My Head,” he expands that formula with a darker, rock-influenced sound, pairing haunting melodies and atmospheric production with the vulnerability that has become his signature.

The single offers another glimpse into I’m Not OK But…, a deeply personal body of work that explores healing, fatherhood, recovery, faith, and mental health. Continuing the emotional honesty that has defined his celebrated Pain series, the project finds Derez pushing his artistry forward while remaining grounded in the authenticity that has earned him a loyal fanbase.
